How to Cut the Flag |

| To conduct a proper ceremony it is necessary to cut the United States flag before burning it. This is a sign of respect since cutting the flag makes it no longer look like the United States flag. The best way to cut the flag is with a sharp pair of scissors or an exacto knife. The picture below shows how to cut the flag. | ||
